Epigeny is a privately held small-to-medium enterprise (SME) specializing in computer science services for epidemiological research. The company brings expertise in the OBiBa open-source software suite (obiba.org), which will be utilized and enhanced throughout the project. The principal investigator at Epigeny also serves as the technical lead of the OBiBa group. All software development is conducted in alignment with FAIR principles and released under open-source licenses.
As part of the project, Epigeny will enhance existing OBiBa applications, develop new functionalities, and support project partners in deploying the solution within their IT environments. These efforts will contribute to the long-term sustainability of the project’s infrastructure.
